CODE FOR CHARITY was a non-profit contest aimed to help the community in the war against COVID-19. The contest, held on 4th July 2020, aimed to sharpen programming skills among the participants by engaging them in challenging tasks. There was a small entry fee set for participation and all proceeds were donated to the local government of Assam and Feed India NGO. The competition was hosted on the popular competitive coding portal HackerRank.

CODE FOR CHARITY was a major success with the following highlights:

  1. Pulled in registrations from a total of 7 countries: India, Singapore, USA, England, Belgium, Italy and Germany.
  2. Raised a total of INR 16000.
  3. Total registrations of 128 participants.
  4. INR 8000 donated to Feed India NGO to provide food for those who cannot afford.

We did what we do best, we coded for charity.
