A Region 10 Initiative

IEEE Region 10 organized its second Conference Leadership Program (CLP) on 6th – 7th October 2020. The program was initially planned to be held in India and China, but due to COVID19 pandemic situation, it was organized online. Approximately 88 delegates from 8 countries of Region 10 participated in the program.
The program was planned to serve the needs of IEEE conference organizers. The course was designed by MCE for Region 10 after having detailed discussion with Region 10 volunteers. Delegates completed pre-CLP on-demand courses in the IEEE Center for Leadership Excellence (CLE). Fred Schindler was the main speaker and covered topics on IEEE Technical Co-Sponsorship fundamentals, plagiarism and peer review process. Bangalore Section Chair, Puneet Mishra shared experiences and best practices from the Section in successfully organizing conferences. John Tracy moderated the session and Kevin Hanft provided all supports.
