Workshop on Communication Skill and Webinar ‘IEEE to IEEE Xtreme’

IEEE University of Asia Pacific (UAP) SB accompanied by IEEE UAP WIE AG hosted the ‘One Certificate Course on Communication Skills’ on 15th January 2020, a workshop supported by ‘Thoughts’ – a global standard consultancy firm. Muhammad Mahbubul Alam, Chairperson of ‘Thoughts’ was the instructor and it was a well-received workshop participated by 30 students.
IEEE UAP SB also hosted a two-day Webinar on ‘IEEE to IEEE Xtreme’ on 14th and 16th August 2020. On day one, the Webinar started with a presentation on the benefits of IEEE membership followed by an interactive session where volunteers from different SB shared their experience as an IEEE member. On the closing day of this virtual event, an informative session on IEEE Xtreme programming competition was conducted by the SB ambassadors. Guest speakers Dr. Tapan Kumar Chakraborty (Head od Department, EEE, UAP), Student Branch counselor Md. Sazzadur Rahman and UAP WIE AG advisor Tanima Tasmin Chowdhury gave their remarks.
