Even with the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, the special session organized by Sendai WIE was successfully held on 27th August 2020 by Webinar with more than 38 attendees. This session belongs to one Japanese domestic annual meeting called Tohoku-Section Joint Convention of Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers and was co-sponsored by IEEE Sendai Section and IEEE YP Sendai. One invited talk, 8 presentations from Japanese universities and 5 presentations from Singapore WIE were all narrated attractively by female researchers, encouraging all participants to explore science and technology with passion and efforts. The presented researches covered from robotics, 5G technology, AI, programing, wireless power transfer to biomedical sensor technologies. The invited talk was elegantly delivered by Prof. Etsuko Ueda, Chair for Kansai WIE, who taught us on how to evaluate the grace and how to control robot to behave gracefully and quantitatively. Moreover, the session also started the international cooperation between Sendai WIE and Singapore WIE.
