Distinguished Lectures on Trustworthy AI and Software Defined Accelerators for Edge Computing

IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter, under auspices of the IEEE Kharagpur Section, has successfully organized two significant Distinguished Lecturers (DLs) on next-generation advanced digital and secured device technologies.

The first DL on “Software-Defined Accelerators for Edge Computing” was delivered by Prof. Tulika Mitra, Provost’s Chair Professor of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore (NUS) on 15th March 2021 which was attended by 22 IEEE and 14 guest members. The second DL was given by Dr. Malek Ben Salem, Director for Security R&D at Accenture, U.S.A on “Building and Operating Trustworthy AI” on 10th May 2021 which was attended by 21 IEEE and 24 guest members.

Both of the distinguished lectures witnessed extremely engaging, interesting, and informative sessions. The talks primarily focus on the implications of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques in realizing more secure and trustworthy software-defined devices for the betterment of humanity.
