“Quarter Tech Talk Table 4.0 (QT4)” took place in the form of a Panel Discussion on the topic – “Role of Technology in Entrepreneurship Opportunities during COVID 19”. The event was conducted in collaboration with “Universal Access to Technology” (Technical Committee) of IEEE SSIT and IEEE Industry Engagement Committee. The panelists were Helen Kim (VP of Wireless Technology and IP at MaxLinear Inc.), Simay Akar (CCO & Co-Founder of Innoses) and Kiran Kumar H S (Innovation & Product Strategy Consultant & Mentor Associated with Atal Innovation Mission, NTI Aayog, Govt. of India)

Round 1 (Open Mic: Discussion on the Role of Technology in Entrepreneurship Opportunities during COVID 19):
The entire panel discussion was surrounding STEM, entrepreneurship (market shifts, record breaks, and problem-solving methodologies), outreach in rural areas, the statistics of blockchain platform during the COVID-19 times and their impact on prestigious companies like Zomato, and others.
Round 2 (Closed Floor):
The closed floor discussion summed up the importance of each domain. Furthermore, development and establishment of the 5G network, new technologies, and implementing them with a market gap. Advancement of technology with agriculture was another raised topic. It concluded with the inevitable fact that IEEE plays a major role in focusing and helping students and professionals in STEM education and thereby indirectly aiding in drastic growth in technology.
Round 3 (Open Floor: Ask the Panelist)
Open floor went with Q&A were informative and worth seeking inputs from everyone.

The 2nd day of QT4 took place in the form of a panel discussion on the topic “Role of Technology in Career Advancement during COVID-19”. The panelists were Sinjini Sengupta (Founder – LIGHTHOUSE (Lighthouse.co.in), Author, TEDx Speaker, Distinguished Toastmaster), Dr. Shantha Mohan (Executive in Residence, Integrated Innovation Institute iLab at Carnegie Mellon University), Rohit Adhlakha (CXO, Advisor to Vector Center and Zscaler), and Sur Khurana (Wellness and Life Coach, Keynote Speaker & Founder of Co-Create with Universe).

Round 1 (Open Mic: Discussion on the Role of Technology in Career Advancement during COVID 19)
The whole panel discussion was surrounding schooling methods, progress of studies and career development goals. The technological advancement in schooling should be delivered to rural areas with some techniques. Moreover, it’s been concluded that one should mould themselves to live with or without technology.
Round 2 (Closed Floor):
The closed floor discussion curated as an act of providing awareness to individuals in the community, students should be trained in the technology. The speaker’s perspective was that the young minds should be exposed to digital skills that are available in the markets now-a-days. The closed floor ended with an optimistic note.
