IEEE NITK Virtual Project Expo 2020

The annual Project Expo 2020 was hosted by the IEEE NITK Student Branch on 12th July 2020 on its website. Experiential learning through projects is one of the best forms of education. Projects foster a multitude of skills like team management, presentation, formal publications, and overall profile building. We at the IEEE NITK Student Branch undertake year-long projects with research-oriented and industrial goals to further our understanding. Guided by the professors and alumni of NITK, our projects spanned across various fields including aerodynamics, deep learning, robotics, power electronics, and much more! Even amidst the pandemic, we have successfully implemented projects such as car automation, blind assistance, CodeShare, and rocket propulsion systems, which have been compiled in our Virtual Expo (https://ieee.nitk.ac.in/virtual-expo/) with more than 650 views. Additionally, under Envision, the brainchild of IEEE-NITK, we mentor first-year students through unique project ideas kick starting their exploration in various fields. We strive to maximize productivity while inspiring other branches to incorporate projects into their activity plan, and welcome all invaluable feedback and possible collaborations.
