The Professional Activities Committee (PAC) is a diverse group of experienced and enthusiastic volunteers from across R10. The team is guided by esteemed advisors, including Dr. Daniel Eghbal and Dr. Nirmal Nair, with Dr. Agnes Irwanti serving as the Committee Chair.

The 2026 IEEE Region 10 Professional Activities Committee (PAC) invites IEEE members to join a dynamic movement dedicated to strengthening professional engagement, expanding leadership opportunities, and enhancing community impact across one of IEEE’s most vibrant regions. Guided by three strategic priorities: Strategic Engagement, Targeted Support, and Amplified Exposure, PAC 2026 aims to deliver meaningful and measurable value to members.
Members can participate through four key initiatives: (1) Expanding professional forums to reach new and diverse audiences; (2) Professional Certification Grants through IEEE online courses;(3) Professional Activities Special Sessions at Region 10 flagship conferences; and (4) developing collaborative content shared via R10 NL, websites, and social media platforms.
PAC fosters strong collaboration among industry, academia, government, and local communities to create pathways for innovation, mentorship, and shared professional growth. Special emphasis is placed on empowering mid to senior level professionals through targeted capacity building and knowledge sharing programs.
