On October 4th, IEEE R10 Student Activities Committee (SAC) organized a free online event titled “IEEE R10 SAC Webinar 2025: Thailand Edition 🇹🇭”, featuring distinguished keynote speakers. The webinar covered insightful topics such as “MyEdTech Research in Japan and Thailand” by Prof. Akinori Nishihara and “STEAM Play for Early Childhood Education and Care” by Prof. Vilas Wuwongse, highlighting the relevance of technology and research from past to present, as well as the promotion of learning and education in Thailand.
The event aimed to attract both IEEE members and non-members from various universities, as well as initiate outreach to schools. According to participant data, 64.3% of attendees were IEEE members, while 35.7% were non-members, including participants from local schools across Thailand.
This event effectively promoted membership development by helping participants stay connected and build relationships within IEEE R10 and IEEE SAC R10. The primary goal of the team is to inspire students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders who will continue to move forward with IEEE.
