The bi-annual IEEE R10 SYWL Congress will be held from August 29 to September 1, 2024, at the National Olympic Memorial Youth Center in Tokyo, Japan.Over 250 participants, including more than 100 international attendees, are expected to join the congress.
IEEE R10 Students, Young Professionals, Women In Engineering and Life Members (SYWL) Congress is a bi-annual event of IEEE R10. The event aims to foster volunteer leadership and facilitates networking among participants from different corners of the Region.
This year, the event will be held from August 29 through September 1 at the National Olympic Memorial Youth Center, which is located at the center of Tokyo, Japan.
This year’s theme is “Collaborative Leadership beyond Various Boundaries.” More than 350 participants have registered for the event and congress expects about 200 participants from outside of Japan.

Every evening, the participants will get the opportunity to network at events such as Welcome Reception (August 29), Award Night (August 30), and Cultural Night (August 31).
TIEEE R10 SYWL 2024 will create a platform to learn collaborative leadership beyond boundaries such as gender, ethical background, culture, religion, and geographical Region/Country/Section differences.
