WIE Dinner Mixer with Jenifer Castillo
IEEE Hyderabad Section WIE AG has organized “WIE Dinner Mixer with Mrs. Jenifer Castillo”, IEEE WIE Committee Chair on 1st August 2022 at the Plaza Hotel, Begumpet, Hyderabad from 7 PM to 10 PM with 25 participants. All the members interacted with the chair and learned about various WIE opportunities.
Sensors Council Chapters Regional Meeting
Sensors Council Chapters Regional Meeting was conducted on 7th August 2022 at ITC Kohenur, Madhapur, Hyderabad. The event was attended by Dr. Ravinder Dahiya, President for IEEE Sensors Council Chapter and Professor at Glasgow University, Dr. Anil Roy, Vice President Operations for DA-IICT, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, and Dr. Mitradeep Bhattacharya, Chair for IEEE Sensors Council YP. The meeting also had the distinguished lecture on “High Sensitivity Bio-sensing in Liquids with Resonant Mode Cantilevers BioMems” by Prof. Enakshi Bhattacharya of IIT Madras. The meeting was attended by 50 participants.
IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Summit 2022 (WIE ILS-2022)
IEEE Hyderabad Section WIE AG organized the IEEE WIE ILS on 26th to 27th August 2022 at Marigold, Begumpet, Hyderabad. The event went on for two days with 4 different tracks: Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Leadership & Empowerment, Emerging Technologies, and Humanitarian. All the talks were very inspirational and over 200 participants attended (virtual and online). There were two panel discussions on Gender Equity and Sustainability Development and Fostering Women in Leadership. The speakers were drafted from both industry and academia.
