IEEE Day 2023 celebration, themed “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow,” was organized as a joint effort by IEEE Indonesia Section and Institut Sains dan Teknologi Terpadu Surabaya (ISTTS) IEEE Student Branch. The celebrations were held on 14 October 2023 at ISTTS, Surabay. The event highlighted two key sub-themes: “Energy Transition to Mitigate the Impact of Climate Change” and “Winning IEEE Funding Awards for Community Service.“Esteemed speakers, Prof. Lr. Sarjiya from Universitas Gadjah Mada and Dr. Indra Riyanto from Universitas Budi Luhur shared insights, discussing sustainable energy and acquiring funding for community projects. Attendees networked with like-minded professionals, fostering collaboration as per the IEEE community’s mission to leverage technology for societal advancement. This event exemplified dedication to innovation and collaboration for a more sustainable and technologically advanced future.
