National Symposium and Research Colloquium

IEEE GCEK Student Branch, in association with IEEE IA/IE/PELS Kerala Jt. Chapter, IEEE Kerala Section and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, organized the National Symposium and Research Colloquium from 11th to 12th September 2021. The event focused on promoting research works of Master’s students and Ph.D. scholars. There were five tracks wherein the emphasized area was anything related to the recent trends in Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Science Engineering. Each track began with a keynote session by experts in the respective research fields, followed by the presentations. Out of 67 participants’ registrants, 34 were shortlisted for the final presentation.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Shalij P R (Research Dean, APJAKTU) on 11th September. The chief guest for the closing ceremony on 12th September was Dr. Sadiq A (Academic Dean, APJAKTU). The event overall provided a great insight towards research in various areas and gave an opportunity for students to showcase their works.
