IEEE Pre-University STEM Portal Grant Program Committee received an impressive 260 grant applications for 2023 showcasing a diverse range of creative and innovative STEM outreach programs. We are thrilled to announce out of the impressive pool of applicants, 43 projects have been selected to receive funding and approximately 79% of these projects originate from IEEE R10, highlighting the region’s strong commitment to fostering STEM education.
Furthermore, it is worth noting that seven out of the eight large-scale projects that secured funding are also from R10, demonstrating their exceptional contributions. It is a testament to the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals committed to inspiring the next generation of technology innovators.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the dedicated members who have worked tirelessly to organize educational activities for K-12 students in their local communities. Through continuous efforts and the passion of volunteers, IEEE makes a lasting impact and empowers young minds.
