The IEEE R10 Newsletter Committee is pleased to welcome you to the first special issue of IEEE Region 10 Connect for the year 2023.
The special issue includes the welcome message from the new R10 Director, Prof Lance Fung stating the vision for the greater IEEE R10 in coming years. The directives and future plans of R10 committee chairs are expressed in the special articles featured in this issue.
The R10 Robotics Competition 2022 under the theme Robotics for Healthcare, is a new project by IEEE R10 that has been a success, and it is shared with the R10 Newsletter’s readers as one of the year 2022 most noteworthy events.
