The IEEE Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues Institute of Technology Student Branch (FCRIT SB) hosted a thought-provoking seminar titled ‘Developing Leadership Skills: Why as Undergraduates’ on 3 October 2023, in college seminar hall at 3:30 pm, on the occasion of IEEE Day. This engaging seminar aimed to inspire and empower students to shape their future and enhance their leadership potential.
The event featured a keynote address by Ms. Ravdeep Kaur Gandhi, Deputy Director Marketing & Operation, PATH, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She shared her insights on leadership, ethics, and personal development, discussing the importance of leadership skills in the workplace and how students could cultivate these skills early in their careers. She also emphasized the need for ethical and principled decision-making in leadership.
The seminar featured a quiz for participants to test their knowledge of leadership and a chance to win free Udemy courses worth Rs. 500-1000 for the top 5 attendees, promoting technological skills in the students.
