IEEE Student Branch of Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology( ASIET) hosted IEEE FIESTA, a two-day vibrant celebration of IEEE Day, held on 3-4 October 2023 with 50 participants that aimed to introduce students to IEEE in a fun, collaborative way.
Day one featured an online session, “All About IEEE,” led by Neha Jasmin, Student Representative, IEEE Kochi Hub. Neha shared her IEEE journey, highlighting the benefits of IEEE membership. Attendees were encouraged to ask questions, fostering engagement and curiosity.
Day two brought a thrilling task-based competition that ended in a tie between two teams, following which, 11 students advanced to an individual round, with winners receiving valuable prizes, including IEEE membership discounts.
IEEE Fiesta achieved its goal of introducing students to IEEE, generating interest, and strengthening the IEEE community at ASIET. It was an exceptional event that will surely leave a lasting impact on the students.
