The IEEE Student Branch at Don Bosco College of Engineering, Goa, India celebrated IEEE Day on 13 October 2023. The event was led by the Executive Committee and was graced by the presence of Prof. Yeshudas Muttu, Prof. Mohini Naik, and Prof. Deron Rodrigues. During the event, Prof. Muttu emphasized the theme “Bond of Technology” and highlighted the history of IEEE Day, stressing its importance and continuity. He also discussed the need for an ethical committee and areas for improvement. The Executive Committee received their badges, and a cake-cutting celebration followed the ceremony.
The event also featured a networking activity, which fostered student interaction and unity. Reels from the IEEE Educational Tour 2023 competition were showcased, and senior members shared their IEEE experiences. Overall, the celebration combined knowledge sharing, team-building, and fun, strengthening bonds among IEEE student members.
