Dear IEEE Region 10 Members,
It is a great honor to serve as your IEEE Region 10 Director for the 2025–2026 term. With over 213,000 members across 28 countries, Region 10 continues to be one of the most dynamic, diverse, and forward-looking regions in IEEE.
This term, we move forward under the theme “Towards One IEEE,” with a renewed commitment to inclusiveness, transparency, and cross-border collaboration. Whether you are a student, a young professional, a researcher, or an industry leader, your contributions are at the heart of our shared progress.
We began this year with the IEEE Region 10 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 22- 23 February 2025 in Incheon, South Korea, bringing together volunteers and leaders from across the region. It was an honor to welcome IEEE President Dr. Kathleen Kramer, President-Elect Mrs. Mary Ellen Randall, and other global leaders. Together, we reviewed our priorities and laid the foundation for a strong and impactful term

R10 Horizon: Sharing Ideas Across Borders
We also continue our signature knowledge-sharing platform—the R10 Horizon Webinar Series—which brings together leading voices from across IEEE and beyond to discuss emerging topics, share best practices, and inspire our growing community.
As part of our mission to connect and inspire, we launched the R10 Horizon Webinar Series, a platform to share insights, best practices, and forward-looking ideas.
The first webinar, titled “Ethical Election Engagement in Region 10,” was held on 1 March 2025, with an impressive lineup of speakers including past IEEE Presidents and key members of the Ethics & Member Conduct Committee.
Over 130 participants joined the session, engaging in thoughtful discussion on the importance of transparency, fairness, and integrity in IEEE elections. This strong turnout affirms our region’s commitment to ethical leadership and active participation.
More Horizon webinars are planned throughout the year—we look forward to your continued interest and engagement.
I encourage all members to join and contribute to these insightful conversations.
Region 10 stands at an exciting and meaningful moment in its history. Let us move forward together—expanding our horizons, guided by a united vision.
