Building a Professional Home for Innovators
In 2026, the R10 Young Professionals (R10 YP) Committee was formed with 24 members from 17 Sections, selected to ensure broad regional representation. Starting in 2028, we will be divided into two regions. Even after the split, we aim to continue smooth activities in each region, foster mutual exchange, and ensure a bright future together.
We look forward to working with all of you, alongside the R10 YPC, to prepare for this exciting transition.
Our mission this year is built upon four core objectives: advancing leadership skills, enriching member experiences through AG activities, amplifying global visibility, and expanding professional networks. These programs cover all R10 YP members, even those in Sections without local YP groups.
- Ascend Training: Focused on professional growth through the GEMS internship program, Section YP Chair training, and the “Career Compass” webinar series.
- Activity Funding: Providing financial support for local “UpSkill” initiatives and global travel grants for R10 flagship conferences to gain global technical and networking experience.
- Award and Recognition: Celebrating excellence through Outstanding Volunteer Awards and the “Spotlight” series helps make members’ contributions more visible.
- Connective Hub: Building bridges with industry through career fairs, collaborating with R10 SAC, R10 IRC, and IEC, and dedicated sessions at R10 flagship events.
We aim to empower every YP member to step confidently into the next stage of their career.
